We are thrilled to announce that the organizers of the Shelter Festival are supporting Team Insanire in our endeavor to participate in the Baltic Sea Circle Rallye Winter Edition. The bond between Team Insanire and the Shelter Festival has been strong for a long time, and it was quickly clear that the festival organizers wanted to support our mission.

Through this partnership, we have made important connections, for example we were able to present our rally vehicle and plans at the Wanderuper Weihnachtsdorf on the first Advent weekend. The Shelter team, led by organizer Malte Jochimsen and his company IN|Concert, tirelessly promotes our participation and the fundraising project for the children’s and youth hospice service at every opportunity and through various media appearances.

We are infinitely grateful for this wonderful support. Without you, many things would be much harder or even impossible to achieve. At the same time, we would like to introduce you to the Shelter Festival in more detail.

Shelter Festival

The Shelter Festival, known as the “Best Ager Festival,” is set to return to Eggebek from July 17th to 19th, 2025. This event, held at a former military hangar, promises three days of rock, pop, and nostalgia, catering to an audience that cherishes the music of the 80s and 90s.

The Festival is more than just a music event; it’s a celebration of community and nostalgia. It offers attendees a chance to reconnect with old friends and relive the vibrant music scene of the 80s and 90s. The festival’s diverse line-up ensures that there is something for everyone, making it a must-attend event for music lovers.

Event Highlights

The festival kicks off with a 90s Disco Party featuring DJ Frank Raven, known for his energetic sets that span pop, Eurodance, rock, rave, and techno. Following this, The Andersons will take the stage, delivering a full set of 90s hits.

The main stage will host a variety of acts, including The Zac Schulze Gang, who bring a raw rock sound, and Bon Scott, an AC/DC tribute band. Century’s Crime, a Supertramp tribute band, will also perform, offering renditions of classic hits like “The Logical Song” and “Breakfast in America.”

Headliners and Special Events

Headlining the festival are Mesh, a British synth-pop band with a sound reminiscent of Depeche Mode, and J.B.O., a German fun metal band known for their humorous and energetic performances.

The festival also features a special warm-up party and a screening of “Top Gun II: Maverick” on a large screen with surround sound, adding a cinematic touch to the event.

Last summer, we experienced truly beautiful and wonderful moments in a super atmospheric environment in Eggebek. An event you don’t want to miss this summer!
